Effective August 17, 2026
Activate The Nation exists to call believers back to their first love and send them out — love God, love people, make disciples. Every group, message, and gathering in the app carries that heart. These guidelines describe the conduct we expect and enforce.
What we expect
- Speak to build up. Encourage, pray for, and walk with people — including people who disagree with you.
- Honor privacy. What is shared in a group stays in the group; a meeting address is never shared outside it.
- Be who you say you are. Real name or a consistent identity — never someone else's.
- Use what someone gives you only for what they gave it for. When a person shares their name and number after saying yes, use it to follow up with them and for nothing else — never add them to a list, never pass it on.
Never allowed
- Harassment, bullying, hate, or threats of any kind.
- Sexualized content or unwanted advances. Any sexual content involving a minor is reported to the authorities and the account is removed permanently — there is no second chance on this one.
- Spam, scams, fundraising solicitations, or commercial promotion.
- Impersonation of any person or organization.
- Collecting or exposing another person's private information.
- Encouraging self-harm, or anything else that endangers a person.
- Anything unlawful.
Meeting in person
Groups gather in the real world. Meet in public places when a group is new to you, bring someone when you can, and let a leader know if anything in a gathering felt unsafe. Leaders are volunteers, not vetted employees — use your judgment, and never feel obliged to stay somewhere you are not comfortable. Leaders: the meeting address you enter is shown only to members you have accepted — accept people you have actually talked with.
If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. Reporting them here is the second step, not the first.
Reporting and enforcement
Messages are automatically screened before they send. A message that breaks these guidelines is refused, and the attempt is recorded for our moderators — the person you were writing to never sees it.
Every message and profile can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked — blocking stops all contact both ways. Reports are reviewed by our team. Depending on severity we remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts, without prior notice where safety requires it. To appeal a decision, email [email protected].
